Lime Chicken Soft Tacos

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2013
I made this according to directions, except I used lemon b/c I was out of lime... maybe that's why I didn't "love" it, and maybe I also used too much. Oh, I also boiled and shredded the chicken, then let it simmer. It is much better served cold the next day. I will try to make this again though b/c my fiance loved it.

Slow Cooker Lasagna

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2012
I made a very similar recipe to this, the only difference was the portion sizes and it had me cook an onion w/ the sausage. This was delicious! A little dry to my taste, but I think that's b/c I cooked it too long. Next time I won't cook as long, and probably add more cheese and some mushrooms. The overall flavor was delicious, and easy to prep. I made the night before and refrigerated.

Grilled Onions

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2012
This was awesome... I found this recipe on here and just had to try it - it seemed so different to me. I love onions, but have never had them just on the side by themselves. Well, I might change that now. What a great addition to the grillin' menu!

Grilled Stuffed Zucchini Boats

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2012
I was looking for something different to grill, side dish/veggie wise. This was perfect! Easy too. I couldn't find the tomato basil flavored creme so I used italian herb and cheese, it was still good. I do think I used too much of the creme cheese (I didn't pay attention to the qty in directions)... next time I won't add so much. But, I will be making this again! Looks fancy too, would be good for company.

Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2012
This was the first time I tried turkey burgers. Delicious! Can't wait to make them again. I used 2 lbs meat & 1 packet though. I didn't want to overpower with flavor.

Easiest Pot Roast Ever

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2011
Very good. I placed veggies on top of roast. Added more water than called for, and used flour to turn into a gravy. I also placed a bay leaf into crock pot while cooking. Thought maybe it needed a little more flavor, but overrall very tasty. I will make this again.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2011
Perfect! I made this for me and my brother and he said it was better than Mom's! Shh... I added a dash of nutmeg to the ricotta like instructed, and I also let the noodles sit in hot water instead of boiling them - also on the comments section. I made this a day ahead of time, so easy to pop in the oven and make a quick salad and breadsticks. This will be my go-to lasagna from now on. I do feel that it was missing a little something, maybe I should have used fresh basil?

Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2011
OUTSTANDING! Delicious. I believe previous comments said this was a restaraunt quality soup, and I would have to agree. I also took advice from comments, and added a little carot, celery and onion. Also, I used instand wild rice soup, but not the kind w/ the seasoning packet - and it turned out fine. Very hearty and filling soup. Served w/ garlic breadsticks.

Quick Tuna Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2011
Delish! My pantry is bare... I was looking for a tuna salad recipe, but everything called for eggs, or more ingredients. I was super happy to stumble across this, and even more happy b/c I actually had relish. Very yummy!!! I will definitely make this again. I even had leftovers, which I plan on taking for lunch.

Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2011
I have always wanted to make a traditional chili, but I never have. I used this recipe tonight, and I will never search for another chili recipe again! This is seriously so flavorful and delicious. I followed the directions exactly. I wouldn't change a thing! The only thing is it is a TAD too spicy (but I'm a wimp). I'm not sure how I could lessen the spice flavor? Suggestions? I cannot wait to make this for my Mom and get her approval.
