I wanted to bake a quick and easy dessert for my family on a recent weeknight, but didn't have any white sugar. I came across this recipe & decided to give it a try since it was rated so highly & had such outstanding reviews. My family & I absolutely loved them! The recipe listed only makes an 8x8 pan though, so next time I will be doubling it. I will also use slightly less chocolate chips, as I felt there were a few too many in this recipe, though that is just my own personal taste. I liked the recipe so much that I have made a few customized versions as well. I replaced the choc chips with white chocolate morsels & substituted macadamia nuts for the walnuts. Took the White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Blondies to a recent function & everybody went crazy over them. For my daughters class, I made another custom version & replaced the choc chips with M&M's & skipped the nuts. This also was very good & colorful. Next, I will be trying a Reese cup version. I highly recommend this recipe.
