Excellent Idea! I am on a restricted carb diet at the moment, mostly pertaining to avoiding the starchy carbs and sugar. I made these with my own spin on them, and they turned out amazing and are definitely okay on my allowed food list! I used 3 tbsp hemp hearts seed in place of the flax. I added in 4 tbsp medium coconut and 1 tsp cocoa powder along with the 100% whey isolate, peanut butter and banana. I only used one banana, one cup of the peanut butter and one scoop of the protein powder. It made 22 balls approximately 1 tbsp each and I entered this recipe into my calorie counter. Turns out each ball contains only a total of 92 calories - 6.8 g fat, 5.5 g carb & 4.1 g protein - very well balanced. I will definitely make these again. THANKS Fit&Healthy Mom!
