What I know about spices I have learned by using them. I have never been to culinary school, but I do watch a lot of shows on tv and I learned much from there.

Pasta is a very versitile thing to cook with. You can do so many things with it that I can't even count. Ground beef is the same way.

Bar B Que at family re-unions are a hoot. No matter who does the cooking, there is always good times for all.

I make a fried chicken chunk recipe that has yet to have any left overs.
My cooking tragedies
When I met my wife to be, I wanted to impress her with my skills in the kitchen, but got over zealous with the spices in my meat loaf and it walked away with the pan. That was the worst loaf I ever made.
