Baked Fennel with Parmesan

What a fabulous recipe! Thank you so much. I swapped the creme fraiche for sour cream (only because that's what I had in the fridge). Because fennel is not a common vegie, everybody raved about it. Comments like: What is this? Fennel? LOL so funny. Thank you for a super easy, delicious side. :)

Jewish Chicken Soup

This was wonderful, thank you. I've made stock previously but always boiled it for hours. I noticed a big difference with the simmering. Thank you, great tip! I didn't add the dill but only because we didn't have any. I strained the stock into another pot and then picked the meat off the bones when it was manageable. Unfortunately, I ate the legs/thigh with some salt because I'm such a guts but, hey, cook's treat! But I used the breast meat in the soup and everybody loved it. Thanks for sharing Layla! Great recipe :)

Marinade for Steak I

I was so happy with this, thank you. I wish I had planned this better but I just Googled at 5:00pm 'steak marinade' and this came up. So I prepared the ingredients as quickly as I could (so easy because virtually everything most people have). I could only marinade for 60 minutes because everyone was starving but they all raved about it. I'll do it again with more time to spare but even in the 60 minutes, it was a massive hit. Thank you so much for sharing :) so kind.

Turkey Drumsticks

This was so very easy. I did brown the turkey legs first and then saute the vegetables as well. I forgot the garlic but no matter. I added fresh tomatoes because that's all I had and about a litre of my home-made special tomato sauce (but any tomato puree would work). I covered in foil and roasted for 4 hours because the drumsticks were huge. Everybody loved them and the bits that fell off in the sauce, I left there and we used them and what was left of the sauce as a delicious pasta sauce. What a great recipe: so cheap, so easy and so delicious! A hit with everyone. Thanks Sue :)
