My husband loves this meatloaf, which is saying a lot from a previously non-meatloaf-loving man. I make the recipe completely as is with the exceptions of- I saute the onions prior to adding them into the mix and add part of the salt to them as they cook. Without doing this the meatloaf had bit too much crunchy onion for my taste. Also I cut down the ginger to a pinch, since, for me, the ginger was overpowering otherwise. This is an awesome recipe that has become a staple in our household!
