Banana Bread I

Very easy to make. I doubled the recipe(lots of old bananas!)and snuck in a cup of whole wheat flour instead of white. No one noticed, and every piece was wolfed down.

Sauerkraut-Stuffed Slow-Cooked Pork Roast

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2006
This is the exact recipe I use except we slice the roast (or a loin) and lay it flat in a casserole dish, pour kraut over it and cook for a LONG time. When it is done we put rolls on top and bake until they are done. (They do get soft on bottom, YUM.) My family LOVES this

Awesome!! We took this camping. Prepared everything at home and put in ziplock bags. Cooked over fire. EASY! Used mushrooms, onions, and zucchini for veggies. Best mushrooms I've ever had.

Pork Steak Burritos

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2007
YUMMY! How could something so simple taste so good? I put the sour cream and green onions in the burritoes. You can heat all tortillas at one time if you leave them in the bag and warm in microwave.

My husband who is NOT a pasta person, wants me to "make more of those noodles." We do occasionally have Alfredo, but will use this recipe from here on out. We did add chicken and garlic.

If you like hummus you'll love this. I even thinned out the leftovers and used it as a salad dressing. Yum.

My 12 year old ate 3 bowls. Used whole chicken and fresh tomatoes because that is what I had. Already told my sister about it.

Actually made with cherries (suggested alternate) and left off cinnamon. Had my nieces and nephews here and we served it for breakfast. Everyone loved it - even us adults.

Best Ever Brisket

So, here is the thing: I've made this twice now, but with a roast (cause that is what I had.) Then we shred it and serve as taco meat with soft fried corn tortillas. WE LOVE IT!! I suppose one day I will do it with a brisket.....
