Pork Chops for the Slow Cooker

I made this using the others advice doubling the sugar and ketchup. I returned home two hours before dinner and was disappointed to find it very dull and the soy very powerful. To rescue the dish I added more sugar along with 11/2 tsp red pepper flakes and 1 tsp Chinese 5 spice. The additions kicked it up enough and 30 minutes before dinner I tossed in some green beans ( any veg would do). I served with chopped peanuts for garnish. I would make it again with these changes.

Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

I have never written a review on this site but this one deserves one. I made it as written and it came out fantastic. It was very tender and juicy. The next time I make it I will thicken the juices a bit to make more of a gravy but I will make it again and again. I served it with the smashed potatoes and zesty broccoli from this site and there wasn't a bite of anything left over. Post script, this time I dissolved 2 tbs corn starch in the water and it made a perfect gravy in the end. I didn't have to do anything but serve.

Oh-So-Good Chicken

Not a fan. I made exactly as directed and it is bland bland bland. The only way to make it edible is to dress it up with hot sauce and pico and the only thing the mushrooms added was expense. Unfortunately I made a lot to add to my freezer meals. Maybe I can pawn it off on my sons friends from college.
