Easy Alfredo Sauce II

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2010
This was the easiest recipe I have found and loved in a long time. I read most of the notes and also added in garlic salt. I slowly added the heavy cream (I made mine) and stopped as I got closer to 3/4 cup. I found that this helped it from being too runny. I whipped it and it came out perfect.

Bada Bing Bada Banged Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2012
I made this for a dinner with friends who had 4 kids. They loved this so much! I did smash them more than most, but the kids liked that. I did not include the rosemary as that can be overpowering. We used shredded parmasean instead of grated so it became a bit crispy which was wonderful. Will make this again.

Festive Carrot Ring

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2009
Wow - this was a great recipe! I tried this with the small bundt cake pan and while it did not come out as smooth as I would have liked, it tasted great. Need to make sure you really grease the pan in order to come out cleanly.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Outstanding! I served this at a company food sharing and was loved by all. I microwaved everything and put it in the crockpot since I did not have a stove. Worked out well.

Asian Orange Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2010
While this had a few steps it was well worth it! My husband loves orange chicken but most recipes I have tried have been very bland. I added garlic salt and pepper into the flour as well as additional in the sauce. I did the stir fry the chicken in batches and just covered it with a paper towel. This worked out very well. I then just boiled the sauce then turned it off and added in the chicken. My family have already asked that I make this again.

Chocolate Caramel Brownies

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2010
Wow - these were a huge hit! They were a bit time consuming but well worth it. I used more than 1/2 of the batter for the bottom layer and we liked that a bit better. Remember to really grease the sides of the pan as the caramel will stick to the sides.

I did this as cupcakes for a July 4th party. They were a huge hit! I added in lemon extract for flavoring and layered red, white and blue for a great cupcake.

Creamy Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2011
Loved this! I did use some suggestions and added a few of mine. I defrosted the shredded hash browns and I used 2 cups of soups instead of one. I sprinkled panko crumbs on top of the shredded cheese and baked at 400 for 10 minutes to brown crumbs then 350 for another 30 minutes. It came out fantastic.

This is outstanding! I took the advice and removed brown sugar. I also reduce the oil to 3/4 cup and worked well.

Sausage Cups

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2011
This was a huge hit at the party. I used the won ton wrappers and they came out great. I did cook them longer than the 5 minutes - more like 10 so they were brown and formed into a shell. I also used the light ranch dressing which reduced the calories, which is a plus! Everyone really enjoyed this recipe and would use again.

This was a very easy cordon blue. We did not have curry, but did not notice it missing at all. Loved this recipe and will make again.

Avocado, Tomato and Mango Salsa

Refreshing salsa that was loved by all. As others have said, a lot of chopping but well worth it. I used garlic salt instead of plain salt.

Baked Seafood Au Gratin

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2009
My family loved this recipe. I did make a few alterations that fit more into our lifestyle. I added old bay seasoning, used lactaid milk, used cod instead of flounder and doubled the scallops instead of using shrimp. This will be a family favorite!
