Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2011
qtpieally--I made this recipe this afternoon and got the same result that you did! Mine is still in the oven (only got one loaf out of it) and so far it looks and smells great...hope tastes as good as it looks! Very thick batter (non-pourable) and certainly not enough for two bread pans.

Roast Chicken with Rosemary

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2005
I have enjoyed cooking for a many years & this was by far the best chicken that has ever come out of my oven. I mixed a tablespoon or so of olive oil w/ crushed garlic, rosemary, paparika & lemon juice and rubbed it under the skin. Follow the 20min. per pound rule and the most important rule of letting it sit for 15min or so after you've pulled out of the oven and success is as easy as that!

Cheesecake Topped Brownies

Way yum! I've used this recipe before out of one of my cookbooks. With brownie mixes & frostings there's always room to play. I enjoy mine with fudge brownie & dark chocolate frosting for that extra chocolate fix!!

Great salad for warm weather! So easy and quick to put together. I skipped on the olives & it was still very tasty.

Mediterranean Crusted Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2005
This wasn't as good as I expected. The flavor was ok, but the end result was greasy and the coaty didn't stick very well. I did follow the recipe to a tee but I may try again with the bnls breasts as some others did and see if results are any different.

Posole Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2004
Very good! A few minor alterations...I boiled the pork in the water w/ the chili powder (maybe a little more than what was called for) as well as a couple of spoonfuls of granulated chicken bouilon. A lot of great flavor! I'm already craving more!!

For your white sauce, try mixing equal parts yogurt and sour cream with horseradish to taste.

The Ultimate Brownie

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2004
WAY YUM! I WAS A LITTLE SKEPTICAL WHEN READING REVIEWS BUT I FIGURED YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WHEN IT COMES TO CHOCOLATE!! THE ONLY DEVIATION I TOOK FROM THE ACTUAL RECIPE WAS USING THE 9X13 PAN (AS RECOMMENDED BY REVIEWERS) AND CUT BACK ON THE NUTS. AND OF COURSE I HAD TO ADD 1/2 A BAG OF CHOC. CHIPS.

Strawberry Nut Muffins

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2004
My experience with this receipe was not what I had expected. They were good to a degree but not sure if I will make again. The batter was more of a dough form and finished product was a little dry & bland. The cooking time definetely needs to be increased and I also got 18 muffins out of it.

Balsamic Tortellini

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2003
This is one of my favorite recipes! It's so easy to throw together, especially for company. I usually use a little extra pancetta--LOVE the flavor! Experiment with more/less ingredients based on your likes/dislikes-you can't go wrong, however, I do suggest going by the orig. receipe to get the fullest flavor otherwise you will be disappointed. Thank you so much for a wonderful dish!
