Australian BBQ Meatballs

This is my first time preparing an Australian dish and the meatballs were wonderful. The only thing I would recommend is eliminating half the amount of vinegar, wherein, meatballs is a bit too tangy. Other than that, this is not a bad dish.

Coconut Milk Rice Pudding

I loved this rice pudding!! I remember eating rice pudding a lot as a child and enjoyed it. I am amaze of how great the coconut milk enhances the flavor of this rice pudding. The only other two ingredients I added was a dash of nutmeg and cinnamon to get it more flavor.

Perfect Baked Jerk Chicken

I rate this a four because the flavor of the sauce is great, however since I do not care for pork, I used beef in place of it. I do not like pork, but from reading the recipe the sauce mixture sound great and I enjoyed it. I did not rate it a five because I did not try cooking pork with sauce.

Easy Cream Cheese Pie

Great cream cheese pie. I was surprise with it way it turned out after adding sweet condense milk to it. Usually I would prepare my cream cheese pie using white powder sugar in place of sweet condense milk, but, n=enjoy both methods. What I would recommend is adding 2 blocks of cream cheese, instead of 1 block, wherein mixture is not stiff enough with only 1 block.

Mongolian Strawberry-Orange Juice Smoothie

This smoothie is good and it is a great refresher in the morning. However, I had to add a extra tablespoon of sugar in mixture to make it more flavorful. Otherwise, the smoothie came out great.

Great flavor, however, I had to change the amount of time it took to bake mixture. The first time I tried this recipe, I bake mixture in oven for 30 minutes like the recipe mention, but coconut pastry came out watery. I decided to prepare this recipe again, this time allowing mixture to bake for 45 minutes and it came out great!! The only thing I recommend is allow pastry to bake at least 15 minutes longer, therefore, pastry won't be too watery.

Maja Blanca (Coconut Pudding)

Maja Blanca was okay. This pudding had a very lite flavor to it, however, I did not care for flavor and did not like the way the texture came out. I felt pudding taste a lot better warm than chilled. Not something I would look forward to preparing in the future.

Easy Indian Curried Lamb

I enjoyed flavor of spices in this curry. I never cooked using garam masala seasoning, and this was a great dish. Ever since I started preparing this recipe, I have been cooking it more often. Thank you!!

Thai Chicken

I did not like dish at all. After adding peanut butter to the dish it came out too salty. I had to add some honey in dish to enhance the flavor some, however, flavor still was not that appealing.

Parsley Butter Seasoned Chicken

I thought seasonings went well with chicken and the bread crumbs. The chicken was lightly seasoned and I enjoyed texture. I used both the grilling and the baking methods with preparing this chicken, and both came out great!!

Cinnamon Apple Healthy Smoothie

I rate this a 5 because of the health factor and it is very tasty. When deciding different variety of healthier snacks, this is a great smoothie to make, especially for those who are trying to lose weight. This is also a good alternative for a low calorie breakfast. Thank you very much!!

Keftedes - Greek Meatballs

As long as I have been anticipating trying this recipe, when I prepared it I did not care for it. The dried mint seems to overpower all of the other ingredients. I used three methods after preparing beef mixture: frying; baking and grilling these meatballs, however all three methods did not meet my satisfaction. I understand recipe says to deep fried them, but unfortunately meatballs came out very crispy.

Jamaican Patties

The Jamaican Beef Patties were okay. I felt spices over powered each other and was not satisfied with the way the dough turn-out. I tried beef patties in the past and did this not think this recipe came close in flavor to what I was expecting.

Lamb Tagine

OH My Goodness!! This is a great Lamb!! I have been anticipating to try this recipe for the longest, but was thrown off by the amount of ingredients. I enjoyed how well the seasoning blend together and the flavor of lamb. "Ras El Hanout" seasoning can also be used in place of most spices. I usually bake my lamb everytime I prepare it, however; I decided to try a new method for cooking lamb and this is a great recipe!! A good combination of food to have with lamb are rice and cabbage. The recipe mentioned 1 1/2 to 2hrs, but it only took my lamb about 40-45 minutes to simmer. I used lamb steak, therefore; it did not take as long.

Grilled Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich

This is a great sandwich!! At first I was a little concerned about preparing this sandwich for work because I never tried this sandwich prior to preparing it for lunch (but I knew this would be good). I was very surprised with the flavor of sandwich and I am intending on making this one of my choices for lunch. I also added a little honey on banana w/cinnamon and nutmeg. Came out great!!
