Best Beer Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2008
Great recipe, four stars only because too much beer. I skipped the bacon because of Friday fast but otherwise prepared as instructed. Recipe is economical to fix feeds 4 hungry kids with leftovers for another lunch! It is easy to add left over veg and ham or bacon for Saturdays lunch.

Great recipe,I also cut the salt by more then half for our taste. It was concentrated and I made a double batch and put it in the freezer.

Plum Jam

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2014
Great base recipe. I added 1 tsp ginger and 1 tsp ground cloves for a little spice. I also cut the sugar and will cut further at my next try. Set up well as long as you bring it back to a full boil after adding pectin for 1 full minute.

Strawberry-Rhubarb Jam

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2013
Gave it 4 stars just because of need for changes. reduced sugar by 30 percent. Added 1 tsp cinnamon and 1/2 tsp cloves. Flavor is great! sets up very quickly will probably use less pectin next time. Was able to triple the recipe with no poor effects.

Great mix that is about same cost as store bought with a lot more milk for the kids. I did double the creamer and the choc milk mix. I also used dark choc cocoa

Salted Peanut Chews

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2007
I did very little adjusting and regardless as to what I add for flavor weather cinnamon or peppermint candies it turns out great. I add extra suger, creamer, and instant choc milk mix. I have crushed up a cup of peppermint candies and added to a recipe(the best yet) and cinnamon candies with 2 teaspoons cinnamon. All were good additions. A staple for my pantry!

Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2007
Fast and nearly foolproof, a very reliable staple for a confirmed choclate lover. I do boil a little longer then called for time simply to firm it up more for easier packaging for my over seas boxes. All of the military persomnnel who have recieved it state that it arrives in great condition but doesn't last long!
