Chili Seasoning Mix II

used this recipe w/ 3 lbs ground beef, 2 cans chili beans, 2 cans tomato sauce & 1 can diced tomatoes. Perfect!

Pasta Pomodoro

I tried the recipe as written, and it was absolutely perfect. During dinner, even my daughter referred to it as 'crazy good'. To get the best flavors, we used home-grown garden tomatoes, a good quality balsamic vinegar, and fresh herbs.

If I could possibly give this recipe less than one star I could. I did not care for this recipe. First of all, the dough needs nowhere NEAR 15 minutes to bake. My first batch, it baked 10 minutes and was burnt. Second time around, I baked it for only 6-7 minutes, and it was more than enough. The filling was watery, and never set - even after refrigerating for several hours. There are much better Zserbo recipes available elsewhere.

Best Cream Of Broccoli Soup

very good - used two cans of chicken broth; next time, I might try three cans - it evaporates a lot while cooking the broccoli. Also, I only pureed about half of the soup (large chunks of broccoli), and left the rest for some texture in the soup.

Stuffed Pork Chops I

Like many others, I also enjoyed this recipe VERY much. I took some of the other suggestions, and doubled the stuffing portion, cut a slit in and stuffed the pork rather than put the stuffing on top, and since I'm not a mushroom fan, I used cream of chicken soup. If I could give this recipe more than 5 stars I would!

Spicy Slow Cooker Black Bean Soup

I think this recipe was just fabulous. I added one large chopped onion, reduced the cayenne pepper by half (the hubby and kids don't like things too hot), and I was generous with the chili powder and cumin. It did also need a little bit (~1 tsp) of salt. The kids and hubby both loved it, and it was very easy to start in the morning before work. I left it on high all day, and reduced it to low when I returned from work, and let it cook on low for about two hours before dinner time. Very filling, and very healthy recipe.
