Chef John's Ham and Potato Soup

I did not use Cayenne pepper as my husband can't take the 'heat'. I don't think that amount he will taste it, but you know you have to please the hubby! My recipe is excellent so I am sure this one is just as good.

Crispy Rosemary Chicken and Fries

I agree with RedWings, if your going to change the recipe, don't give it a low rating and then say what you changed. Come on people. It's not hard to submit your own recipe stop trying to change others. My motto is to try the recipe once, as it is written, THEN I change it to fit my tastes. This is a good one and will fix it again tonight.

Mushroom Risotto

I so enjoy risotto rice, and you must use the arborio rice to give it a good flavor. I wonder why though why people change the reciepe? It's great just the way it is. this is a great recipe and does not need to be changed.

I use half the hamburger and half ground turkey. It seems to give it a better flavor. Other than that it is good.

Taco Seasoning I

I honestly cannot tell you how angry I have become because so many people are comparing this to pagacked spices for tacos or whatever you may use it for. Ther is just NO comparison so please, stop comparing this to pacgaged, not even close. I have used this many, many times and find it wonderful. Didn't change a thing like so many people to. Tweek it to fit your style is alright; but when people say it is wonderful and then change everything, it is not the same recipe.

Oven Fried Chicken III

I found this recipe wonderful. I did lessen the mayo and added a splash of milk to thin it out. If you are ever out of bread crumbs do what I do all the time. I don't buy bread crumbs anymore. Take your blender through some loaf bread, old biscuits, etc in it and blend until it becomes fine. So much better than store bought. I had my spices and it is great.
