Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2013
WOW!! After reading several reviews I wanted to stay as true to the recipe so I could compare, but I did change a couple things. I only set the oven to 400 degrees only because of something else I cooked that required that temp. I parbroiled the cut halves of fresh brussel sprouts (and leaves that fell off) for about a min if that, let them cool a tad in strainer.. oiled a baking pan, placed them cut side down, sprinkled leaves all over and then added oven-baked (not totally cooked) pieces of bacon. YUM! Sprinkled on some sea salt. Cooked for 15 mins, stirred it up a little and cooked for another 15 mins. WOW!! That about sums it up. Try it!

My Best Clam Chowder

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2012
This soup is delicious. So very thick and creamy. I put only a splash of vinegar in at the end and I used a 50/50 white and wheat flour. It gave it a brown textured look, but was still so so good. After it was all cooked, I ran it through the blender and that made nice and chunky, but smooth. Try it... you won't be sorry.
