Slow Cooker Texas Pulled Pork

Thanks for sharing this recipe--it was a hit on the 4th of July! I doubled the recipe for a 5.4 lb roast and made a rub out of the brown sugar, yellow mustard, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, garlic and thyme. I then seared the roast in the oven at 420F for 30 minutes. I used the same measurements above for the vegetable oil, vinegar, and onion but substituted more chicken broth for BBQ (I like adding it individually) and cooked on high in the slow cooker for 5 hours. A+++
