About this Cook
I am currently a student at Colorado University at Boulder working for a Music Education degree and a minor in History. I have always enjoyed cooking but it wasn't until a few years ago that I actually took an interest in it. In my spare time, I (obviously) cook/bake, play my violin, and study history. I look forward to any down time I have from either studying or practicing so I can cook up a storm, something I was never able to do at home. I will eventually post my successful and delicious recipes, so be patient!
My favorite things to cook
I really enjoy cooking Mexican, Italian, and baking fruit pies and cookies.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Ever since I was younger I have always loved certain cooking traditions that I will definitely pass on! Some of my favorite cooking traditions are: Bean and chicken Tamales, Albondigas, Mole, Posole, Champurado/Atole, Bunuelos, and Tortillas!
My cooking triumphs
Italian Cooking Mexican Cooking All types of Cookies
My cooking tragedies
Decorating fondant and Carrot Cake (I love it but I haven't gotten to the level where I can make it and love it :P)

White Chocolate Macadamia Cranberry Dreams
The perfect cookie! Although I did cook it for 15 minutes instead of ten absolutely the right thing to do! Thanks for sharing! It was a hit with friends, family, administrators, and random people for the last day of school!

Gingerbread Men
Wow! I never made gingerbread cookies before and always heard it was difficult because of the molasses. When i found that this used butterscotch pudding instead of molasses, I was a little skeptical. The result: The perfect cookie to get you in the spirit!! Although I did cook it for 7 and a half minutes absolutely perfect! Thanks for sharing! I love Christmas and Baking!!
