These were very tasty and I would make again. I did add in a packet of ham seasoning for some extra flavor though. My family really enjoyed them.

Rita's Sweet Holiday Baked Ham

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2007
Wonderful!! I omitted the syrup and added whole cloves to the ham. The ham was tender and delicious. I used the left over juice to make gravy and everyone loved it.

Irish Soda Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2007
This did not turn out well for me. Perhaps because I used wheat instead of white flour? It didn't seem as though there was enough moisture in the recipe.

Puerto Rican Tostones (Fried Plantains)

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2006
This is a great recipe for tostones. When I do the water dip before the second fry I use salt water instead of plain. It give the tostones a little extra flavor.

Too much milk in this recipie. Reduce to 1 & 1/2 cup. Flavor was good though and I will use again with the milk reduction.

Chocolate Chip Muffins

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2003
I made these this morning. They were super easy to put together. The smell was wonderful and the taste is even better. I followed the other reviewers advice and used the full cup of Milk. I also added in about a 1/2tsp of Vanilla. They were a hit for breakfast. I will make again.

I followed the recipie carefully. They came out very flat and I dont like the taste. They are much too sweet and doughy for Buttermilk Biscuits
