Crispy Fish Fillets

Wow my 4 year old son loved this fish. I thought it was good but but didn't LOVE it like he did. Will make again and likely add in some additional spices to the potato flakes for a little more flavor.

Chocolate Mayonnaise Cake II

This is a great and easy cake. My mom has been making this since she was a kid. She always puts peanut butter icing on the top. I took it to a Xmas party over the weekend and everyone wanted the recipe.

Brown Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2009
These are heavenly. The smell of the brown butter is incredible and the cookies are delicious. They remind me of pecan lace cookies in flavor. I too omitted the icing because I really don't think they need it. Thanks so much for posting this recipe.

Slow Cooker Lancaster County Pork and Sauerkraut

Delicious. I didn't have the seeds so I just omitted them. I also browned the meat before putting into my crock pot. There were NO leftovers.

Peanut Butter Bars I

This was OK. I personally did not really like them. They were just not that PB tasting. That being said, I took them to a BBQ this weekend and they were all eaten.

Swedish Meatballs II

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2009
Very good meatballs. I made this with turkey meat and they were yummy. If you use turkey though make the meatballs a little smaller than golf ball size. Turkey doesn't shrink like beef so mine were a little on the large size. I also didn't used the sauce recipe provided as I has some packets from IKEA for the meatball sauce (cope out I know but its very tasty)

Chicken Parmigiana

This was really good. I was skeptical that a baked version would not be tender but it was delish. I mixed the Parm with the bread crumbs for the breading. Will make again.

Fabulous Fried Cabbage

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2008
This is a quick version. Put some butter in a wok or large skillet. Slice up the cabbage and add to butter. Stir it around to coat with butter and salt the cabbage lightly. Stir from time to time moving the bottom to the top. Whe you see some nice brown edges and the cabbage become translucent its done. Takes about 10 min. Sprinkle with some Parmesan cheese. Even my 18 month old loves this veggie!!

Stir-Fried Kale and Broccoli Florets

DELICIOUS!!! I have never tried Kale before and this was great. I took the advice of others and steamed the Kale first. I didn't have tomatos or lime but did put in some bread crumbs and a little sharp cheddar cheese. My 18 month old even ate some.

Kickin' Collard Greens

These were really very good. My neice, who considers herself a collard greens expert, said they were very good. I did add a little sugar at the end to cut the bitterness. I will make again.
