Easy recipe to make. A tip, If you buy the Nestle's miniature cookies, you can just take 1.5 little square and drop it in the bottom of the tart pan. When it comes out, take the bottom of a tablespoon measuring spoon to press down and make your holding area. Also, I didn't add the butter, as I didn't see a need for it...just extra calories and fat, and I used a little over half the amount of sugar. They were extremely yummy the 2nd day.

Peppered Shrimp Alfredo

Overall good recipe. Didn't add the mushroom or the cayenne. Bold flavor compared to plain jarred Alfredo sauce.

Baked Mushroom Thighs

Nice option instead of fried chicken. To be on the safe side, after I made the mushroom "marinade" I separated the sauce to avoid cross contamination. Better safe than sorry. For health reasons I also removed the skin from the chicken and it tasted great. This process would work great on porkchops too.

Cube Steak Parmesan

Very ho hum in my opinion. I used a mallet to pound out the meat so that it would be tender. The steak looked great when it came out of the saute pan, very crisp and brown. However after putting the sauce on it, the crust became mushy and in some instances slid off. After cooking, the meat was not as tender as I would have liked and overall it just wasn't outstanding. Not a dish I would make again.

Creamy Cajun Shrimp Pasta

Delicious, quick, and easy to make. I sauteed chopped onions in the butter before adding the shrimp. My cajun seasoning was really spicy, so I only added about 1 teaspoon. Followed other reviews and only used about 2 tbs of flour. Will definitely make again!

Sopapilla Cheesecake Pie

Very easy dessert to make and very delicious. We couldn't wait for it to cool down, so we snuck a piece warm & it was delicious. It was also delicious refrigerated too. Fresh outta the oven, there was butter pooled in the center. I took a spoon and poured it over the edges, but as it cooled off, it soakd in. I only used about 1/2 c, sugar w/ the butter, and only a little honey drizzled over the top. Very sweet and very delicious. will make again and again. It would taste great with a lemon extract put into the cream cheese mixture.

Macaroni and Cheese with Caramelized Onions and Bacon

A little time consuming, but definitely. I knew it would be good because anything involving bacon and onions will be fabulous. Unfortunately, may husband forgot the cheddar cheese so I only had asiago cheese, but even w/that, it was still delicious. My only concern was that the liquid milk mixture didn't seem to be enough...the mac overall was a little dry. I would increase the mixture by half.
