About this Cook
I love hockey, quilting and my family. When I cook on a game day everything must be done before the game starts. With 82 games a year...well, the kids get used to it.
My favorite things to cook
I cook a wide variety of foods. Mostly Italian and German. We cook a lot of pork at our home.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Christmas is a fun meal for us. My husband either cooks a full polish meal or a lasagna. It is up to him.
My cooking tragedies
Chicken breasts with no condiments AT ALL...dry hard burnt hockey pucks! My father and husband ate them anyway, poor guys!

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan
The parm sauce has a wonderful flavor. I wouldn't change a thing about it. I was worried my fish wasn't cooked and ended up over-cooking it. That was my mistake. I'm not a fish loved but I loved this recipe.

Golden Baked Acorn Squash
The orange was a little too strong. Otherwise incredible.

Winter Lentil Vegetable Soup
A good hearty soup. Rather plain but certainly one I would make again.
