Of course I played with the recipe a bit, like others. I boiled an unpeeled potato in with the chicken, carrots, onions, and celery all at the same time. I then cooled the potato in the freezer, peeled it, chunked it and added it to the sauce. I added some finely minced red pepper with the onions while sauteeing in the butter for the sauce, and I replaced pie crust with refrigerated crescent roll dough. I could NOT keep my son and husband off of this. I made a 9 x 13 pan and it was gone before I knew it! Definitely a keeper.
