Luscious Slush Punch

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2010
Very good punch! Made it as stated word for word. Served it at Thanksgiving and everyone loved it. Our biggest problem was finding something to serve it in! Could not find the punch bowl to save our lives. We ended up using a big oval crockpot.

Easy Pizza Sauce II

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2004
Was good and would make again. I did add a bit more garlic and a very little bit of garlic/pepper seasoning. Also added about an 1/8 of a tsp sugar.

Skillet Fried Corn

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2004
This was good if you like greasy corn. I did give it two stars because 1)It smelled good and 2)It looked really yummy...nice and colorfull. It tasted like bland greasy corn though. If I ever attempt to make this again, I will definatly drain the bacon grease and add some kind of spice. It was blah

Old Fashioned Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2004
Very good recipe. Next time I will cut down the nutmeg. THat is a personal preferance though. The crust was delicious!!! I plan on making that for some different desserts. I did have a time keeping the crust up the side of the pan. It shrunk a bit. All in all a pretty good recipe.

Peach Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2004
Everyone simply loved this pie. I did make a few changes because of other reviews. First after slicing the peaches, I mixed in between 1/4 and 1/3 cup of quick cooking tapioca and let it set for about 10 minutes. I also did half brown and half white sugar and added a little cinammon. Cooked it at 450 for 10 minutes and then 350 for the remainder time. It was delicious and I had no problems with the consistancy of the pie. THis will be the only peach pie recipe I use from now on. I also wanted to add that I did not do the lattice crust but simply layed another crust on top, cut slits in it and gave it an egg wash and sprinkled sugar on it.Thanks.

Easy Cocoa Ice Cream

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2004
Followed the recipe to the T, except I doubled it. For making ice cream for the 1st time, my family was very impressed. Its a good thing I did double it because I only made it yesterday and it is already almost gone. I might add some goodies (such as candy bar pieces *reeses*) next time. Definatly a keeper

White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies III

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2003
This recipe was exactly what I was looking for. After reading other reviews I was concerned that they might flatten...but I had no problem with this at all. The key is to not have your butter to soft when mixing...and to use real butter. I followed the recipe to the T...and my cookies turned out great. Thanks
