Italian Bread Using a Bread Machine

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2008
This is an incredible recipe. I have made it twice now with perfect results both times. I rolled it out into an oval on the floured counter-top and then rolled it up into one long oval loaf and the result is a fantastic, light airy bread with just the right amount of saltiness. I did, however, skip the eggwash part and instead rubbed the top down with a cold stick of butter immediately after taking it out of the oven. The whole family gobbles it right up. Love it! edit: I should add that I let it proof directly on a greased baking sheet so I wouldn't have to move it.

Chicken Diablo

This recipe was a snap to make! The chicken was moist and the flavor was good. I am looking forward to the leftover chicken diced on a salad for lunch today!

Mom's Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2003
This is a wonderful chocolate cake! Moist and fluffy; we don't even frost it and it gets gobbled up quickly. Hits the spot when you need a chocolate fix!

Cinnamon Swirl Bundt Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2003
There are not enough stars to give this recipe it's just desserts! It has set the standard by which all cakes are judged in my house. Easy as can be, comes out perfect every time. My only modification is I double the amount of swirl mixture and divide the cake batter into three so I can layer the swirl. When cut the inside has 2 stripes of swirl and some on top! Fabulous Recipe, I make it often.

Aunt Anne's Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2003
Easy recipe but spreading batter on a greased & floured pan was not the easiest. I prefer to pour a cake batter. As per the reviews I read before making this, I put the struesel on for the last half of the cooking time. I wish I had not as all that crumbly goodness should be part of the cake and not left behind on the plate when you're done. There are far better coffee cake recipes.
