About this Cook
I am a Christian, dental hygienist, wife of 3 years, mama to twins, owner of Chihuahuas, reader, writer, lover, blogger. cooking4ireland.blogspot.com
My favorite things to cook
EVERYTHING! Okay, well, my go-to meal is soup, it's easy, and tastes good. My go-to cooking "method" is the slow cooker. I love to cook dinners the most, although I do love making a delectable dessert from time-to-time!
My favorite family cooking traditions
A tradition in my family is to have some sort of baked good on Christmas morning. I'm in the process of starting our own traditions.
My cooking triumphs
I've mastered stuffed vegetables. I don't really even check my meat when I cook it anymore! I trust myself!
My cooking tragedies
Lobster tail...yeah....no. My first attempt at stuffed peppers...sucked. Meatballs: Used Panko instead of breadcrumbs. First time I made grilled cheese at our first place, I burned the heck out of them... Another time I tried to make mashed potatoes in the slowcooker while we were out of town, and weather was bad, so we were gone 4 extra hours than planned, yeah, ew.
