The hubby was a little skeptical when he saw it in an iron skillet. But, after tasting it, he & the kids admitted that it was the best pineapple upside down cake that they've had! Made a couple of changes, though. I used crushed pineapple instead of rings, used only 3/4 C. - 1 C. of brown sugar & had to bake it a little longer (toothpick doneness).
I just made a second one going by the actual directions & have decided that I'll stick with my changes. There's way too much brown sugar & it spills over in the oven. The first one was much better. Still a very good basic recipe! Thanks Anne!!
