Slow Cooker Oatmeal

Made the recipe as is and it is a win win! Breakfast is ready when we get up, everyone can add their favorites, whether that is fruit, more brown sugar or syrup and clean-up is easy. Loved the thick and creamy results. I used Steel Cut Oates, better for healthier eating. Also sprayed the crock with no-stick spray for easier clean-up. i have made it other times with 1c. heavy cream instead of 1/2 & 1/2 but can not say it was any better. Thank you to KARENSFIXINS!

Irish Pound Cake

LOVED it! To be fair, I did not have Irish Whiskey - so I used Jim Beam Bourbon Whiskey. Delish! After reading other reviews, I did cut my baking time by 5 minutes and I used nutmeg in place of mace. Moist, not too sweet with just the right taste of whiskey. Served it with Apple Berry Salsa. Yum!

Kay's Spaghetti and Lasagna Sauce

Wow! I may never buy jarred sauce again! I believe in giving a review on recipes as they are writtten before making any changes - however I used only one pepper, as they are not my favorite but hubby likes them in his sauce. This was not just quick and easy but tasted great, too! Thanks for sharing!
