my family loved this recipe. I took some ideas from others--- such as I added a bag of frozen corn, I fried the taco shells in vegetable oil--- to try to make them harder, but it didn't make a big difference (and I probably won't do it again because it's such a waste.) I did find that the meat was a bit bland-- so I added 2 packs of taco seasoning and no water. I used salsa instead of taco sauce and kept it seperate--- as a layer close to the top. I added a lot more cheese... but we are cheese people! We've had it twice now, and I would highly reccommend it. It is a HUGE portion. It feeds my family of 6 twice with left overs.
