Triple Berry Crisp

Reviewed: May 4, 2013
I made this just as written except for the addition of strawberries and substituting a 1/4 cup of white sugar for a 1/2 cup of brown sugar which I ran out of while making this. It is restaurant-quality good.

Bacon Wrapped Barbeque Shrimp

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2013
I used frozen peeled and cleaned shrimp, medium sized, but I broiled the shrimp. It crisped the bacon without making the shrimp rubbery. Broiling was done visually, flipping the shrimp when the bacon looked sizzling and partially brown. It's turned out very well for me twice now.

Breakfast Casserole II

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2012
Deelish! I sautéed onions and red bell peppers and added with the sausage. I also layered as others did: tots, sausage, onions/peppers, egg mixture. It sat in the fridge over night and I baked it the next morning.

Addictive Sesame Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2012
Absolutely delicious! Easy to make if you have the ingredients on hand. I used Sriracha instead of chili paste and it worked out great. I didn't have sesame seeds to toast but I will definitely stock some for the next time I make this.

Potato Latkes I

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2011
These came out very salty. That may be my fault because I used frozen hash brown potatoes. Otherwise they were tasty and fried up quite nicely.

Linguine with Peppers and Sausage

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2011
This is a great, easy meal. If you like natural flavors as opposed to salt and heavy sauces, this is the pasta dish for you. The only changes I made were to use a full pound of sausage and cooking wine instead of table wine. No salt necessary.

Citrus Turkey Brine

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2011
One reviewer suggested boiling the brine to bring out all the flavors. We did that and then smoked our 8 pound turkey for about three hours. BEST TURKEY EVER!
