Traditional Gyro Meat

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2011
Very good, mine tasted 80-90% like the real thing. I did what people suggested and pan sear each piece of meat prior to making each gyro. If I do again I will make 4x the amount of meat and slice/freeze it, as it is a little time consuming. But worth it!

Absolutely Perfect Palak Paneer

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2012
Very good! My wife hates Indian food and she liked it! I didn't have any sour cream (forgot to buy it) so I substituted lowfat yogurt and it still came out great. If this is the first time you make it, it will seem like you have way way too much spinach, but as it cooks down it ends up perfect.

Red Skinned Potato Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2011
I always use allrecipes, rarely stick to the directions, and have never posted before, but this recipe has got me more compliments than anything else I have made. We bring it to virtually every barbeque that we go to, and it is the #1 dish every time. I know that there are a ton of ways to lower calories on this dish, but I just make it exactly the way it shows (although I top it with paprika), and I only make it for parties. One key I've found is to use the most heavy-duty mayonaise that you can find (dukes, old south, ect) as it makes it extra good (unhealthy). 10 star dish, thanks Donna!

Outstanding! Definitly not a healthy sauce, but who cares! 5 out of 5

Tasty Sesame Tilapia

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2012
Very good tilapia dish. I don't really like fish (wife loves it) and I rarely finish my plate. I normally spend all night making a fish dish and end up eating the sides until Im full. But I finished this one! I lightly blackened it as opposed to baking it. Other than that I stuck with the recipe. Next time I might make a asian sauce to put over the top of it (so I don't taste the fish), but my wife loved it just the way it is. Great recipe!

Black Bean and Artichoke Burritos

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2012
Very good! I made it with wheat tortillas and 1/4 the cheese, and I included "My Favorite Mexican Rice" rice recipe in there, so I could get the burrito chain taste, and it was great! Definitly will do again

My Favorite Mexican Rice

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2012
Very Very good! I agree with the salt (only used half), but I could see how the recipe includes that, as I'm sure every mexican joint in town uses even more salt than that! Used this rice in a black bean burrito and it was spot on. Definitly the most tasty long grain rice recipe I have ever made.
