Ground Beef 'n' Biscuits

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2010
I gave this 3 stars because it is just okay. My kids didn't like it at all, my husband and I thought it was okay. I probably would not make this again.

Delightful Apple Spice Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2010
I liked the texture of these muffins. the flavor seemed to be missing something. I doubled the cinnamon and omitted the allspice. I would make these again, maybe adding some vanilla.

Crunchy Romaine Toss

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2010
This salad was excellent! The only changes I made was to substitute red onion for the green onion as I wanted some color, olive oil for the vegetable oil, and red wine vinegar for the cider vinegar. I took this to a friends house and there wasn't a bite left!!

Chewy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2010
The only thing we changed in the recipe was that I used mini chocolate chips as that is what I had on hand. Both my kids and I liked these, they are not a really strong peanut butter flavor, for me it was just enough, but I can see why others think it isn't enough peanut butter flavor.

Brown Sugar Smokies

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2008
these were great! Liked by children and adults. I will definitely make these again. Just a couple of notes. I will cut the bacon in fourths as I had more sausages than I had bacon. I think that I will also put foil on the pan before baking to make clean-up a little easier.

Hamburger Steak with Onions and Gravy

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2008
My whole family enjoyed this, even the kids ages 8 & 10. It was easy to make. I left out the sherry because I don't have it on hand usually. Definitely a make again

The chicken was dry and the rice was very sticky. I would not make this again. The taste was okay.

Quick Chick!

Reviewed: May 5, 2004
This was so simple and delicious! I have made it twice, once using turkey gravy and once using chicken gravy. Both times it tasted great!

Neat Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2004
Even my very picky eater LOVED this! Both DH and kids don't like peppers, so I thought this would be good and I wasn't disappointed. I didn't want to open a can of soup to just use half, as I only used 1 lb of ground beef, so I just used an 8 oz can of tomato sauce instead. My 6yo son said it was like eating meatballs. This is in my permanent file!

This receipe was awesome! I have made it many times and everyone who eats it raves about it! I have made it without the peppers for my family as they don't like peppers and it was still really good!

Shrimp Verde

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2004
This was very good and easy! I had leftover shrimp that was cooked and just heated it through with the parsely. I served it over rice. Husband loved it as well.
