Pretty good brownie recipe. Didn't use the walnuts but they tasted fine.

Self Frosting Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2011
These cookies were ok, but not the greatest. Rather plain. A good cookie when you're out of butter

This is delicious!!! A great treat for hot days. Easy to make and pretty healthy compared to most limeade and lemonade recipes.

Mulberry Rhubarb Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2011
My family loved this, even though I myself don't really enjoy mulberries. We had to use up the mulberries from our yard, and we only like them in pies. This was great with the rhubarb.

Best Homemade Granola Bars

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2011
Awesome granola bars, very healthy with honey instead of peanut butter, but still delicious. Not too hard to make either, going to be making these a lot, my kids love them!!!

Baked Ziti IV

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2011
This is a good baked ziti recipe. My family enjoys it very much. I substitute the provolone cheese with Swiss sometimes. It is still just as good.

Milk Powder Candies

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2011
They are plain and flavorless and taste only like sugary milk. I suppose they would be a little better with lees powdered milk, a little more coconut milk, and a bit of vanilla extract. Also, you cannot roll out the dough until putting in in the refrigerator to stiffen up.

Basic Corn Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2012
This was easy to make and my family enjoyed it. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that it was nothing special, didn't stand out much, wasn't the best this I've ever tasted. I was doubling the recipe and I accidently put in three eggs instead of two, but didn't notice it. Will save this recipe.

Oatmeal Soda Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2012
Delicious!!!! My only problem was there seemed to be a little too much flour, and after forty minutes of baking, the top seemed a little mushy, but we took it out anyway. It firmed up and was fine, but the bottom was a little hard. Over than that, a great side dish! We served it with bean soup and everyone loved it. Great leftover with butter.

Sarah's Applesauce

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2012
Love it!!!!!! Not to sweet, not to tart. The perfect applesauce recipe, will make it again and again. Everyone loves it. It's also good when you substitute 2 apples for a box of strawberries. Strawberry applesauce- yum!

Peanut Butter Cocoa No-Bake Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2012
These are delicious cookies! Only problem is you can't really serve them at a fancy party- they come out looking like lumps of dough, not regular cookies. But they are a great, fast cookie to make and we all love them!

Snickerdoodles III

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2012
These are some of the best snicker doodles I have ever tasted! The first time I made them 10 minutes didn't seem to be enough, the cookies were too soft. I put them in for another 3 minutes, still soft. 3 more, still soft. I took them out then to cool and they hardened up quickly! This time I only put them in for 10 minutes before taking them out and they were perfect. A great recipe!

Classic Waffles

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2012
I usually use another recipe for my waffles (to see it visit my recipe box) but I decided to try this one because you don't have to separate the eggs. It was simpler but not as tasty. Still a good waffle recipe, but I prefer my own.

Fluffy Whole Wheat Biscuits

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2012
A wonderful biscuit recipe!!! My family loves it and so do I. Whole wheat makes it healthy, but it tastes delicious all the same! You can use all white flour if you like. This dough is very sticky and sometimes not quite stiff enough to roll out when you finish. Just let it sit for five or ten minutes and it will stiffen up. Also, I have always found it easier to only roll out half the dough at a time, and to pat it out instead of roll it out.

The Old Boy's Strawberry Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2012
SO GOOD!!! Awesome especially with whipped cream and/or ice cream. Only thing I didn't like was that the topping didn't completely cover the top of the pie, so you could see part of the pie underneath.

Tomato Bread Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2012
I just love this. If you like tomatoes with dressing, you will absolutely love this. I have it for lunch, have it with dinner, bring it over to other people's houses for a side dish... it works for everything. The tomatoes go great with the bread and dressing.

Grilled Tilapia with Mango Salsa

Usually everyone in my family hates fish, and we try to have it every Friday, so every week I try a different recipe to please them. This one finally succeeded! Everyone loved it! Thanks so much!

Honey Wheat Bread II

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2012
Fantastic- and healthy!!! My whole family loves it and they are always begging me to make it. It takes a while, but it is totally worth it! But for some reason, although the bread is fully risen and looks perfect when I put it in the oven, it collapses a little bit while it is being cooked. So the middle is just a little caved in, not too bad though. We still love it, this does not affect the taste!!!
