German Apple Pancake

I wanted to try this recipe before Mother's Day. So last night I made it for my husband and it was delicious and so easy! It reminds me more of french toast than a pancake. I couldn't get it to slide out of the pan, so I cut it into wedges and used a pie server to serve it. I also only sprinkled 2 Tbsp. of sugar over the apples, not a 1/4 cup. I'm looking forward to serving it next weekend for Mother's Day. Thanks for the recipe!

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

This was very good and easy! Next time I'm going to sautee some onions and put them on top of the provolone cheese when I broil the bread in the oven. I might also add a little soy sauce to give the broth a little more flavor. But it's definitely a keeper!

Saltine Toffee Cookies

So easy and addictive! I used a 9x13" non-stick pan and used only 3/4 cup light brown sugar and 3/4 cup butter. I tried 1/2 cup each, but it didn't create enough of the toffee layer. After spreading the chocolate chips I let it harden at room temperature. It takes about 2 hours and then I use a metal spatula to cut the bars. I tried putting them in the fridge the first time I made them, but when I started cutting them, the chocolate layer separated from the toffee layer. Then when I'm done cutting them, then I put them in the fridge. Thanks for the recipe!

Caramel Filled Chocolate Cookies

This is the second Chrismas I've made these cookies and they are always a hit. The only thing I change is I use Hershey Kisses instead of caramel candies. I especially like the Dark Chocolate Hershey Kisses. Thanks for the recipe!

Baked Spaghetti I

I've made this recipe many times and it's great for company. But I suggest you use a 28 oz. can of diced tomatoes, not 16 oz. I omit the ground beef and add a small can of sliced black olives, drained. I save some of the olives and use them to make a heart on top of the casserole. It's a different baked spaghetti, but very good!
