Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2003
This is by far the best apple pie I have ever had! My husband, who doesn't even like desserts, feels the same way. Suggestions from others to add nutmeg, cinnamon & vanilla definately work well. I did a homemade crust (2 cups flour, 1 tsp. salt, 10 tsp. cold butter in pea sized pieces & 1/4-1/2 cup ice water) that wored perfectly. The butteriness of the crust made it flaky and was a great accent to the rich syrup of the pie.

Original Nestle® Toll House® Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2004
This is a great recipe & worth making more than once. If you're looking to try something new, though, this is not the recipe for you. It is essentially the same as the Nestle Tollhouse recipe (more vanilla, no nuts & a shorter cooking time at a lower temperature). Still, worth repeating.

Golden Chicken Tenders

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2011
I found this while looking for a recipe that would be a surefire hit with two sick kids. Since I didn't have stuffing on hand, I coated the chicken with equal parts of breacrumbs and crushed French's Fried Onions together and then cooked as directed. It was fantastically moist! The melted butter was a great addition & the cooking time was prefect. I've since tried it with stuffing and it works great that way too!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2014
Excellent base for any fruit muffin! Following the suggestion if others, vanilla adds a nice flavor. I added zest from half a lemon to the topping and the rest of the zest to the batter and it is indescribably good!
