German Chocolate Cake III

Excellent cake recipe and frosting. I doubled the frosting recipe and omitted the chocolate drizzled on top. I also added 6 oz of german chocolate as recommended by others. i also added extra coconut to the frosting. As the recipe stands, there is only enough frosting to top each layer and none for the sides.

Pecan Chicken Breasts Stuffed with Cream Cheese and Broccoli

WOW! This was great! Next time I will add some spice to the cheese mixture, it could have used a little more punch. I made this with the Beautiful Salad from this site and homemade apple sauce and roasted potatoes.

Herman Reunion Cheese Ball

I am now getting requests for this cheese ball. I will divide the cheese into 4 ball. 2 go to the fridge and 2 go to the freezer. I have frozen not longer than 3 weeks because my honey can't resist this any longer than that. You will not be disappointed.

Fresh Southern Peach Cobbler

I have made this about 5 times now, and it is great every time. I make the filling ahead of time and have taken the dish with the unbaked topping to a friend's house. She puts it into the oven and voila! The house smells great and the cobbler is fresh from the oven.

Beautiful Salad

Ham and Fresh Basil Pinwheels

Very well received at a party. This was my first attempt at making wraps though and they got better with practice. Try not to put in too much lettuce because they don't roll up nicely. I will definately make this again.

Brie and Cranberry Pizza

I made this for a group meeting and it was the only thing that disappeared. Very Yummy! It did make a mess in the oven though, so I'm going to use a jellyroll pan next time.

Light Zucchini Casserole

I didn't like the flavor of the cheese and zucchini together. the baking mix was clumpy. I will not make it again. There were others who did like it though.

Beef Bourguignon II

The meat cooked nicely and was very tender. My kids were not fond of the canned onions. I'm going to skip the extra onions next time. I used the full addition of a nice Merlot. I served this with au gratin potatoes (this site by Jennifer Bopp)which was a nice side dish.
