Easy and Delicious Slow Cooker Cassoulet

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2014
This was absolutely delicious!! I did make a few changes. I added 4 cups of chicken broth so it didn't dry out, as well as fresh rosemary. I also didn't brown the chicken. It came out very tender, and I shredded it at the very end. Perfect! Will make this again and again!

Thai Chicken Curry in Coconut Milk

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2014
A true disappointment. Lacking flavor. Smelled amazing cooking....such a let down. This recipient has potential if a few things were changed. But as written...just 2 stars.

Keon's Slow Cooker Curry Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2014
Terrible! First of all it doesn't taste a bit like any curry dish I've ever had. It's lacking definite flavor. Too much onion. I added extra curry and cayenne pepper, and it still tasted like brown gravy over chicken and veggies. Would not make this again. I don't know how anyone could call this dish "curry." Adding curry powder to a dish with no other true spices does not make it a curry dish.

Pasta e Fagioli a la Chez Ivano

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2013
This is excellent! I halved it; and it still made a ton! The only changes I made was to add more spices. I never measure my spices; always spice to taste. I also used fresh garlic. I don't think it is necessary to cook the pasta with the soup. I also cooked it separately like some other reviewers. I added the pasta and beef in with the soup about 30 minutes in. Perfect!!

Slow Cooker Lemon Garlic Chicken II

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2013
This was absolutely terrible! The chicken was so, so dry! I didn't brown it ahead of time either. I added extra butter, lemon juice, and spices. In addition to the chicken being dry, it would have been also very band had I not added a ton of extra spice. The sauce was greasy and thin. Can't see it going well with rice or pasta either, even if the chicken had been editable. No taste, dry, and just a big waste of time!

Slow Cook Thai Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2013
Definitely worth trying. I really liked it, but my boyfriend thought it was too salty. Next time I'll cut out the soy sauce, and use more chicken broth instead. Also, I'd recommend adding more veggies-maybe peas. I thought the flavors blended together nicely.

African Chicken Stew

Wonderful! I followed the advice of others and used less peanut butter. I also doubled the amount of spices, tripled in some cases. Will definitely make this again!

Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2013
I made this tonight and it was terrible. Edible, but completely lacking in flavor. I followed the recipe just as it was written. Very disappointing. I certainly would not make it for company. The chicken comes out very plain, despite all the spice from the dressing mix. I actually ended up just eating the pasta. Worst part is it takes over an hour to make! Don't waste your time!

Lizzy's Creamy Chicken Bake

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2011
This is a great recipie. My bf loves it as do I. It's sooo easy! I normally only cook 2 chicken breasts and 1/2 can of soup and 1/2 container of sour cream, and the whole package of dry onion soup mix. It comes out so creamy and good!

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2011
I made this for my boyfriend for the first time the other day, and we both LOVED it!! The only changes I made was to add a few dashes of red wine and doubled the butter in the crockpot. The chicken came out sooo tender and the sauce was to die for!

White Cheese Chicken Lasagna

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2011
This is one of the first recipies I ever tried from this site & it is WONDERFUL!! I've made this on Christmas Eve, for my boyfriend's parents, parties, etc. and it's always a big hit. It's a great alternative for people with acid reflux or GERD whom traditional lasagna isn't an option. I didn't change a thing from this recipie, except I do omit the garlic and use garlic power instead. Thank you Lisa for this GREAT recipie!!!

Chicken and Pumpkin Lasagna

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2011
I really, really wanted to like this dish. But if you follow the directions you are going to be dissapointed, as I was. Honestly I really can only see kids enjoying this "lasagna" because it is so bland in taste. 1 can of pumpkin and 1 jar of sauce is not enough; came out very dry. If your going to attempt this dish I'd reccomend you only put a little cheese on top, and sprinkle the rest throughout, because otherwise, you end up with a layer of badly burnt cheese on top. I cooked mine for 25 minutes and the top layer was so burnt it couldn't be eaten. I added a LOT of spices to the chicken and sauce, but it still turned out very bland. Perhaps trading in the speghetti sauce for alfredo, adding some veggies, throwing in some ricotta chesse, and re-distributing the mozzarella cheese would make this recipie taste better, but after all those changes it's really not the same recipie anymore! I did end up eating this because I was starving by the time it was done..
