Love to cook and have been cooking for thirty plus years. I worked in the industry for many years and studied professionally under Todd Hall (once head chef of Los Abrigados in Sedona). Worked at many 4 and 5 star restaurants in PHX including Cristopher's, Mancuso's at the Borgata, and 7800.

My favorite family cooking traditions
Mom makes pork and sauerkraut every year for new years eve day. It's for good luck througout the year and everybody has to have some, like it or not.

Won second place in a chili cookoff this year.
My cooking tragedies
Potato gnocchi I tried to make once for my girlfriend. Didn't work so well and haven't tried since.
