Pesto Cheesy Chicken Rolls

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2013
Very good. I pounded the chicken as thin as I could but it still didn't roll up nicely. I did have to use tootpicks to keep them in the folded-in-half-taco-shape. They were very good though, baked 20 min covered, 10 uncovered at 375. Used shredded cheese and added sundried tomatoes also. Very very good!!

Knedliky - Czech Dumpling with Sauerkraut (Zeli)

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2013
I only used 2 eggs as suggested. I tried to use bread cubes but they never mixed, so I remade the recipe and used bread crumbs. The bread mixed up better that way. I used the cloth because I was afraid the dough would just run everywhere, but don't tie the cloth too tightly otherwise it will spill out and not cook properly. I used salted water, covered the pot. I split the dough into two loaves as suggested also. I cooked them for 40 min, turned them over halfway, and they were overcooked. Would shoot for 30 min or less.

Czech Roast Pork

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2013
Roast was very good. I used Shiner Bock beer and added a little bit more when I turned the roast over. The rub was very good and the roast turned out tender and moist. The sauce was great as well!

Oat Applesauce Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2013
I heated the buttermilk and oatmeal over low heat on the stove, kinda looked like cooked oatmeal when I added it to the other ingredients. Also added cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, salt. Sprinkled cinnamon-sugar over the top before baking. Very very good!

Teena's Overnight Southern Buttermilk Biscuits

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2013
Thanks to the user who included the substitution for all-purpose flour (add 2 Tablespoons baking powder, 1 T salt). I made sure not to wiggle the cutter and these biscuits doubled in height! I would keep them 2-inches in diameter. I cut out 12 2-inch biscuits and still had extra dough so I just cut out 3-inch biscuits. Those big ones doubled in height and fell over half-way through cooking. But big or little, these taste wonderful and are super easy!

Cheater Pot Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2012
So tasty! Everyone ate it up. I used cooked chicken breast, not canned, and used one can cream of chicken and one cream of potato. Will make again.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2012
Very good, I would add chicken stock instead of water, as others have said. Otherwise it was too watery. But very good and super easy!

Easy Vodka Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2012
Good. But make sure to boil out the Vodka - otherwise it tastes too much like alcohol. Maybe use less Vodka, half to three-quarters of a cup instead of a full cup? When I made it, my kitchen smelled like Vodka. I added 2 extra tablespoons of butter to the sauce also. It was really Vodka-heavy.
