Spaghetti with White Clam Sauce
I am a widow. So I enjoy researching recipes according to what I have in my pantry. I was recently given 2-50oz cans of clams in juice. I used the compilation review of rdonahue. I adjusted some what for so many, many clams, but only slightly. And was I glad. The final product was "THE BEST" recipe I have tried in a year. The spices with the oh so delicate clams just sing together with joy. Cooks, you cannot go wrong with this terrific meal and so easy.

Chicken Tortilla Soup I
Fabulous! I too changed from oregano to cumin, left out chili powder for 1 pkg. taco seasoning. I dissolved chicken bouillon cubes instead of water also. I used chicken thigh meat also, (breast meat tends to dry out ). I only wished I had doubled the recipe. I made a pot of white rice in case some guests wanted to pour the soup over the rice. Please don't worry that it will be too spicy for children, my grandkids loved it. Which means the next batch I make I can throw in a can of HOT green chili's instead of mild, and the taco seasoning hot as well. Needless to say there was not a drop of this rich and hearty soup left, But my soup and I were the talk of the evening. Everyone thought it was an old family recipe, not my first try out!
