Best Fried Green Tomatoes

Great batter! I subbed wheat germ for the breadcrumbs since I don't keep them around. Instead of frying, I "oven-fried" (baked) mine at 425 F. Not quite the same as frying, but they still turned out fantastic!

Baked Falafel

These were a little bland for me---I added garam masala and ground red pepper---but otherwise great! I used a 19oz can of chickpeas and subbed wheat germ for the flour, and didn't have a problem with the batter being too thin. Even my husband, an avid carnivore, raved about these!

Jif® Peanut Butter Granola

I used all natural peanut butter instead of Jif, and it worked great! I left out the dried fruit because my husband doesn't care for it. He loved this!
