Baked Salmon II

This was a fabulous marinade it flavored the fish so wonderfully. My boyfriend couldn't get enough of it. I made the dish Friday and at his request again on Sunday. Thank you so much for the recipe. I am definitely adding this into the rotation.

Mexican Rice II

Thank you so much for posting this recipe. It was so easy to make and tasted even better than what I've had at Mexican restaurants. I added about a Tbsp of minced jalapeno pepper for a little kick.

Butternut Squash Soup II

This was wonderful… the flavor was just right. It is officially my favorite soup!! I would highly recommend it to anyone as it is so easy to make. An added plus is butter nut squash is in season and extremely inexpensive. Thank you for posting Maplebird.

Tortillas II

Made this last night and they turned out great. My menu was fajitas with all the fixings and wanted to attempt homemade tortillas. Boyfriend loves fajitas and was so impressed that I don't think I could ever go back to store bought. Fresh is always best! **Will admit that rolling out the dough was tough and I had to request his assistance for the last ones. I made 8 perfectly shaped tortillas and 2 oddly shaped testers. Thanks for the recipe.

Refried Beans Without the Refry

I’ve made this a few times and it always turns out so delicious. I will never go back to store bought due to this recipe. After making the beans for the first time, the only thing I changed was the amount of salt. I reduced it by at least 1 tsp. Thanks for posting :)

White Chip Chocolate Cookies

Cookies were so scrumptious...everyone loved them and couldn't stop eating them up. I took the advice of some of the reviewers and used a 2/3 cup of both white and brown sugar, with an extra 1/4 cup of flour. It gave the perfect sweetness. Thanks for the recipe.

Apple Crisp II

Made this for a big family gathering. It went so fast I didn't even get to taste it. Smelled amazing while it was baking, served with home made vanilla ice cream. I only used 3/4 cup of white sugar on the apples and about 2/3 cup flour for the topping.
