Grilled Turkey Club

This turned out perfect and it was delicious! It was very, very easy to make. I never thought of putting the mayo on the outside, but it worked like a wonder! It was very good! RECOMMEND, and will make again. :)

Ultimate Twice Baked Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2003
This recipe is great! I don’t have anything to add, really. It seems like everything’s been said. This recipe is really easy and delicious. Just make sure you bake the potatoes until their centers are soft enough to scoop out with a spoon, or you’ll have a mess! (Mine were almost done, but not quite!) My fiancé loved this as well. Yummy!

Tuna Pita Melts

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2003
These were GREAT! I’ve never added salt to anything, let alone Tuna fish, but it made it much better. I will add more mayo next time b/c it seemed a LITTLE dry to me. It was really, really good. It would make a great lunch. We discovered that my fiancé doesn’t like pita bread, so I might try it on normal bread, but other than that, I love it and will definitely make it again!

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2003
Well, I don’t really have anything to add that the wonderful people before me haven’t said. This recipe is just the BEST! I’m making it without meat next time, because as a reformed Vegetarian, the ground beef made me sick. My fiancé ate the entire dish (I didn’t have to cook for days!). It was great!

Cheesy Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2003
This was excellent… for the first few bites, and then it tasted too rich, but in a different way – if that makes any sense. We always rate our meals on a scale of 10, and it started out being an 8, and ended up being a 5/6. I think it might have been a little too much cream of mushroom, and not enough potato. It’s a matter of personal taste though; I’d recommend this for everyone to try because it’s a unique recipe.

Cuban Midnight Sandwich

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2003
This was great! My fiance and I loved it! I will make it again, but I will leave out the ham. I don't really like ham, but as a novice, I wanted to follow the recipe and give it a chance first. The ham didn't really take away from the sandwich. The only thing I didn't like about this was all of the fat in it. I suppose you can substitute regular for fat-free. This was a very filling lunch!

Gourmet Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2003
We found this recipe to be too rich. Even w/o the mayo, I don’t think I’ll be cooking it again. All of the ingredients are things I like, but apparently not all of them together. However, it was easy to make, and w/a few modifications would be a favorite!

BLT Wraps

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2003
This recipe is perfect for a novice like me, AND it's perfect for a cooking guru that just wants a break! I used turkey bacon, and it turned out wonderfully! I would recommend this to everyone. If you cook your bacon in the microwave (as I did) it's even easier! The back of the package said to cook 4 peices for 2.5 minutes, and that seemed to be the right amount of time. My fiancé gave this recipe an 11 out of 10! :) He even wanted it later as a snack! It’s a good dinner, lunch, and snack!

Potato Pizza

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2003
I made this the second time I've ever cooked, and something went wrong. I put it in the oven for the specified amount of time, but it didn't turn out very well. I think it would be better to cook the crust completely or RIGHT on the verge of being complete, and THEN add the mashed potatoes and cheese, and just bake until the cheese melts. 4 minutes w/o the toppings wasn't enough for me, and if I left it in for longer than 5 minutes w/the toppings ON, the cheese would burn. I think this is a great recipe though! I'm going to try it again w/a few changes. Oh, my fiance loved it (even though it wasn't done in the middle!).

Chili Dog Casserole I

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2003
This was the first thing I ever cooked! I picked it b/c not only is it easy, but it's something most people will enjoy and it's pretty fool proof. Well, I was right! I made it for my fiance and he LOVED it! It was a huge success! I'm making it again this weekend to take to my parents house so they can try it too! It's delicious, fast, and easy! Don't think it's "just" a chili dog. I was debating to cook it or not b/c it would be faster to just make chili dogs, but the way it is cooked makes it SO much better!
