Wheat Germ Whole-Wheat Buttermilk Pancakes

This was a fantastic, fluffy pancake! I only had regular whole wheat flour on hand, but they came out great :) This will be my new go-to pancake recipe.

Aunt Hazel's Apple Oatmeal Cookies

These cookies are so moist and delicious! They were quick to make, nutritious and not too sweet. Shredding the apple makes the cookies a little too messy for me, but if you chop the apple these cookies come out PERFECT! I added a dash of cinnamon to my glaze as well, and they were fantastic:) The whole family gobbled them up!

Blueberry Pie

I followed other reviewers' suggestions and used 4 tablespoons of corn starch, but the pie still came out runny! :( I did not do the lattice top crust, that may have been the problem. It tastes fantastic, just way too soupy. Next time I will try the lattice top and see if that helps.

Cherry Pie III

FANTASTIC! I made the filling with 4 cups of cherries and used vanilla extract (it was all I had). The filling was not runny at all. I did cheat and use a frozen crust, but it came out wonderful! I usually don't care for cherry pie, but it was so delicious!! This was my first attempt at a fruit pie and I WILL be making this again :)

Shrimp-and-Rice Stuffed Tomatoes

I LOVED the taste, but my tomatoes fell apart as soon as I tried to scoop them out of the pan. Maybe I stuffed them too full? I think next time instead of stuffing them, I'll just make it a casserole with diced tomatoes.

Eggplant Burgers

Strawberry Bread

Onion Soup Pork Chops

I used 1 1/2 cups of Uncle Ben's converted rice and 3 cups of water. And for a little color I added a little bit of chopped celery and red pepper. This recipe tastes too good for how easy it was to make! Definitely a keeper :) Thank goodness for onion soup mix!!

Excellent Shrimp Creole

Wow! Sooooooo yummy! I didn't have 3 pounds of shrimp so I added some chicken breast also... It made so much we ate it all week! And believe me, it was so good I didn't mind one bit ;) I will make this a regular meal.
