Baked Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2012
I really want to like this recipe but I have made it multiple times over the years and I never like the way it turns out. The flavors are lacking, and my chicken is falling off the bone unfortunately I don't think I like this this way. Maybe I over cooked it or didn't put enough seasonings but I usually add more spices than what the recipe calls for.

Kyle's Favorite Beef Stew

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2012
Great recipe! I made a few changes because I didn't have the ingredients. I used beef broth to replace the wine, and I didn't bother boiling the water as some other reviewers mentioned suggested. I chopped one onions instead of quartering threes because I like my onions. I used soy sauce in place of Worchestire sauce since I didn't have any one hand. The stew turned out flavorful and rich; mushrooms are a wonderful addition. The fiance loved it. Thank you for sharing!

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2012
Yummy cookies! I have been making these for years. They are super soft and delicious. You do need to refrigerate the dough as some other reviewers suggested otherwise it will be very sticky to handle.

Refried Beans Without the Refry

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2012
I made this multiple times and it always turned out so delicious. This is a simple, quick, and cheap recipe. I don't also have jalapeno, and usually use dry pepper flakes and it still taste great! Also I add lots of cumin--I like spices. It's freezes well too.

Pineapple Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2012
This turned out amazing! I am supposed to be resting from surgery but decided to do some cooking while the fiance is at work. I am sure he will be excited when he get home. This is something different from the banana bread. I did made some small changes: I had fresh pineapple so I chopped and put in 1 cup of them. It tasted tropical and fresh having them in there as chunks. I also cut one the vegetable oil to 1 1/8 cups and sugar to 1 3/4 cups. I like sweets stuff but not too sweet; I am going to cut the sugar down to 1 1/2 cups next time. I added extra cinnamon b/c we got plenty of hands and I love the cinnamon flavor. I read some other reviewers, and added the coconut flakes on top. A very yummy recipe! I will be sure to make again.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2011
Super quick and easy to make. My fiance loved it. I am not a meat eater, but it was a wonderful smell when we walked in the house. We added carrots, and some red potatoes.

Vegan Red Lentil Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2011
I made some changes to the recipe due to not having everything on hand. I did not fenugreek seeds. I used red curry pasted instead of curry powder, and add cumin as some other reviewers suggested. The smell was wonderful, and this recipe was quick to make.
