It was good but not good enough for a repeat. Had a regular taste, nothing out of the ordinary.

Hamburger Steak with Onions and Gravy

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2006
Great recipe - will make this again but with one small change. I would reduce the amount of flour to 1 Tablespoon instead of 2 Tablespoons as I prefer a thinner gravy.

Grandma's Homemade Banana Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2006
Great Banana bread, whole family enjoyed it. I did take one reader's suggestion and creamed the butter and sugar very well then added the bananas and sour milk before gently mixing in the dry ingredients. This makes a lighter bread. p.s. I added about 3/4 of a cup of chocolate chips which were a nice addition.

Italian Sausage, Peppers, and Onions

Reviewed: May 19, 2006
Really, Really enjoyed this recipe. Not having sweet Italian sausages on hand I used the hot and it was delicious. I think the peppers took some of the heat out of them because they were not very hot. Will definitley make it again. Tks.

Chicken Newburg

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2006
Super recipe for a quick easy dinner. I would however add cayenne pepper or a good dash of hot sauce the next time. It really wasn't enough for 4, 3 would be just perfect.

Skillet Meatloaf

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2006
Meat was just delicious, juicy & tender but I didn't care for the sauce too much of an intense tomato soup flavour. Will make it again but alter the sauce with maybe a little extra water and some Worcestershire sauce
