GREAT SOUP - WONDERFUL FLAVOUR - I DID PUREE THE TOMATOES AS I DON'T CARE FOR LUMPS OF HOT TOMATO IN ANYTHING. ANOTHER READER SUGGESTED CUT THE BACON IN HALF - I WOULD DO THAT THE NEXT TIME. TKS.

SORRY BUT THIS HAD ABSOLUTELY NO FLAVOUR. HAD TO ADD FAIR AMOUNT OF SALT AND BUTTER TO MAKE IT PALATABLE. I HAVE A SIMILAR RECIPE WHICH CALLS FOR CHICKEN BROTHER INSTEAD OF WATER AND WHAT A DIFFERENCE. THIS WILL NOT BE IN MY MENU ROTATION.

Orange Loaf

Mom's Italian Beef Barley Soup

IF I COULD I WOULD GIVE IT A 10. IT WAS DELICIOUS. I DID CHANGE ONE THING THOUGH AND THAT WAS ONLY BECAUSE DIDN'T HAVE ANY TOMATO SAUCE. I USED ABOUT 4 TABLESPOONS OF TOMATO PASTE AND ADDED A BIT EXTRA WATER.

Eggnog Cookies II

Scallops with White Wine Sauce II

Made the sauce as is but instead of scallops I used fillet of sole and 10 good sized shrimps and cooked it all in the sauce - wonderful flavour - will be making this again. Thanks

WHAT A GREAT RECIPE. I DID NOT HAVE ANY CANNELLINI BEANS ON HAND SO I USED RED KIDNEY BEANS AND IT WAS JUST WONDERFUL. NEXT TIME I WILL USE THE RECOMMENDED BEANS. THANKS FOR THE RECIPE
