VERY pleased with this recipe! Used buttermilk instead of regular milk, and like others suggested used a tad more white sugar, and whipped egg whites separately and folded in at the end. Crispy outside, light fluffy and delicious inside. I was also impressed with how crispy they stayed even after being removed from the waffle. These were made yesterday, and today we put the leftovers in the toaster and they were still surprising delicious and crisp. Served with Blueberry Maple Butter (maple syrup + butter + fresh blueberries. ) KEEPER recipe...Thanks for submitting!
