Cucumber, Tomato, and Red Onion Salad

This smells as good as it tastes. Fresh, light and full of flavor. I didn't change a thing. I will make this on a regular basis from now on.

Peanut Butter Cake II

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2009
This is fabulous. It's all owed to the frosting though. The frosting is basically Buckeyes without the chocolate and thinned to be spreadable. Any peanut butter lover will flip over this.

Easy Bacon and Cheese Quiche

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2009
I don't normally like to stray too much from the orginal recipe but this time I did. I made this for my newlywed cousin and his wife for their first breakfast together and they loved it so much they didn't even bother with plates. I added 1/2 can of Rotel tomatoes with chilis, omitted the individual cheeses and just used one bag of Kraft 3 cheese shredded cheese and I used real bacon crumbles from the salad Isle. Fabulous and well, well worth it. Make sure you bake it on a cookie sheet to catch any overflow. I continue to make this over and over.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2008
OMG sinfully delish! I used chocolate chip cookies with peanut butter chips,Butterfinger ice cream, hot fudge and caramel toppings. It only took one 1/2 gallon of ice cream to make and I poured the hot fudge and caramel over the crust, froze 15mins, put ice cream over that, froze 15mins, and poured more hot fudge and caramel over top and froze overnite. Before we ate it I put extra creamy cool whip on. This was for my bosses birthday and he shared it with our small class. Everyone LOVED it and it was moan out loud good! I will make over and over again and try different flavors.

Brown Sugar Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2008
I wasn't completely impressed. I barely had enough to frost a 9x13 cake and the almond was pretty strong. I probably won't bother making again.

Pineapple Cheese Ball

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2008
This was different, but good. I followed advice from other reviewers and made these changes. I added 1tsp of seasoning salt, 2 minced green onions (white part only), a dash or two of worsteshire(sp?) and drained my pineapple extremely well. I wanted something different and got it but even though recieved pretty well by everyone, I'm not sure I'd make it again.

Creamy Spiced Coleslaw

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2008
Very Yummy! I made this for my daughter's 18th birthday party and I actually had an empty bowl. That's never happened with coleslaw. Only thing I changed was the mayo. I used Miracle Whip and only 1/2cup. Personally I think you'll be sorry if you use what the recipe calls for. Waaaaay too much mayo and I might even use a little less than 1/2cup next time. Plenty of dressing when halved.

Grandmother's Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2005
These were delicious! First time i've ever made them and i definately will continue making them. I used baking raisins instead of regular ones. They're plumper and more moist than regular ones and the bag is one cup so no measuring. I also might add more cinnamon next time i make them. Wonderful cookie!! EDIT: I've been making these for at least 3 yrs now for my best friends birthday. She requests them every yr and keeps them in her bedroom so she can eat them in the middle of the night and not have to get up. lol

Jam Filled Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2005
I love this recipe! First time i've ever made this cookie and it turned out so good i made two batches the same day. I used tips from other people and added tsp of vanilla, wet my thumb so the dough wouldn't stick and sprinkled powdered sugar on the cookies when they came out of the oven. I also used regular blackberry jelly and homemade strawberry jam and although both delicious i perferred the homemade jam flavor more. I will continue to make these easy, yummy cookies from now on.
