Cream Cheese Frosting II

My first attempt at a cream cheese frosting for the cinnamon roll recipe (also a first) I am making. Tastes wonderful! I did use a full teaspoon vanilla, and used granulated sugar and ran that through the processor. Warmed the craem cheese and butter about 45 seconds in microwave to soften, and was able to mix this easily with a fork instead of mixer (family still asleep ;) ). Only took a few minutes and did I mention it tastes wonderful? :)

Green Tomato Cake

This cake is incredible!! I did what f64club did, pureeing the tomatoes seeds, skins and all. I let sit in a colander to drain the excess liquid (and used the liquid for watering a plant). I used a little over two cups of puree. I also made enough puree (refrigerated) to make one more cake, PLUS froze two more portions for future use. I am predicting my brother will love this. I didn't have the raisins but did add walnuts. Reminds me of a zuchinni cake. Incredibly moist! My Mom wants to try a cream cheese frosting, but honestly, this cake can easily stand alone!!

Cheese Herb Bread

Amazing bread!! IF it lasts long enough for sandwiches, cheese (hard cheddar), pickles, and romaine lettuce, wow..... I did like others and used 2 teaspoons yeast, but didn't see where it rose too much so may try a tablespoon next time/ I did use olive oil instead of butter, and I added FRESH rosemary in addition to the dried herbs listed. I also used 5 tablespoons of parmesan; two tablespoons were a flavored parmesan. Smelled heavenly while baking!! This bread barely made it through the day. I see this as a regular. I like how some made rolls with it. I think croutons and stuffing could also be made with this bread (especially if the rosemary is added; Thanksgiving in mind here). I HIGHLY recommend this bread!!
