Sausage Brunch Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2014
I served this with fresh fruit for a quick weeknight dinner. Super easy and tastes great!!! I used what I had on-hand: 1/2 lb of country pork sausage, a mix of cheeses (cheddar, Mexican blend, and mozzarella) and a small can (4oz) of crescent rolls. Baked in a smaller pyrex dish (8"x11.5"). No salt or pepper added and I didn't think it needed it at the table. I prebaked the crescent roll crust until light brown, and I did have to bake the casserole about 7-10 minutes past the stated 15 minutes, but my baking dish was a bit smaller than called for so that could account for the difference. Bottom line is it was easy to make and we all enjoyed it very much.

Mozechilli Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2013
Was very good with noted changes. All 3 sons ate 2 helpings each, and my husband liked it too! I added minced garlic, diced onion, and Italian seasoning to the meat while it browned. My jar of pasta sauce was 24 oz., and I only used approx half the 16-oz. box of rotini. It would have been very dry if I had used the whole box!! But this is a very good, EASY base recipe. Thanks for sharing it!

Cheesy Chicken and Potato Casserole

Good idea, added some cubed ham to mine. Really takes on flavor if the potato mix you choose. My family ate it and seemed to enjoy. My husband also enjoyed leftovers the next day for lunch.

I used 1 1/4 tbsp of vinegar and they turned out pretty good... And they were excellent warmed up the next day! I'll try again with even less vinegar next time!

Deep South Fried Chicken

Awesome! I was shocked at how well my first try at "real" fried chicken turned out. Thanks so much for sharing! I did have a problem regulating the temperature of my skillet, but I'm a novice so not recipe's fault at all! I'll keep trying until I get it right!

Hash Brown Casserole II

I am addicted to this stuff! I use cream of mushroom instead of chicken, but I don't think it changes much (I just like mushrooms!)... And I cook it for at least an hour. Wonderful recipe! Thanks so much!

Pasta Bake

Reviewed: May 18, 2000
Fabulous tasting, very easy recipe!!! The only thing I changed is that I didn't use a separate bowl, I just used the skillet to mix everything but the cheese, dumped it into the casserole dish, put the cheese on top and baked. It tasted GREAT! I made a tossed salad and garlic bread with it. Thanks for the recipe Jodi! I'm very grateful!!!
